How to set it up

Connect a phone number

Make sure you’ve connected Twilio or RingCentral and chosen a default number.

Open the Voice Agent

Go to Voice Agent in the app to configure your AI receptionist.

Add your Retell API key

Provide your Retell API key. It’s stored encrypted and used to power the voice agent for your business.

Customize the greeting & behavior

Set the greeting, tone, and what the agent should ask. It uses your Knowledge Hub to answer questions accurately.

Route calls to the agent

Send inbound (or after-hours/overflow) calls to the AI receptionist. New calls will be answered, booked, and logged automatically.

Appointment booking by voice

When a caller is ready to book, the agent checks your availability and creates the appointment, then sends a confirmation text. The booking flows into your calendar and the customer’s record, just like an appointment booked any other way.
Calls handled by the voice agent appear in your unified inbox with a full transcript and summary, so your team always has context for follow-up.
