The dispatch board is your command center for the day. It shows every scheduled job in one view so the office can assign work to the right technician, watch progress in real time, and keep the field and the front desk on the same page.

View your day

Open the dispatch board to see the jobs on your schedule, organized so you can read the day at a glance. Each job card shows the essentials you need to make decisions quickly: the customer, the service, the time window, and who it’s assigned to. You can focus on a single day to plan the morning rollout, or look ahead to balance the week. Jobs created from your unified inbox, online booking, or the AI receptionist land on the board automatically, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Start each morning on the dispatch board. Confirm every job has a tech and a time, fill any gaps, then let your team work from their mobile devices.

Assign jobs to techs

Assigning work is the core of dispatching. You decide which technician owns each job, then the board and the field stay in sync from there.
1

Pick the job

Find the unassigned or scheduled job you want to dispatch on the board.
2

Choose a technician

Assign the job to the right team member based on their skills, location, and current workload. Use this to balance the day so no one is overloaded.
3

Confirm the time

Set or adjust the scheduled time window so the customer and the tech both know when the visit happens.
4

Notify the field

Once assigned, the technician sees the job on the mobile app and gets a push notification, so they can head out without a phone call from the office.
Need to rebalance? Reassign a job to a different technician at any time. The newly assigned tech is notified and the previous one sees it removed from their list.

Track job statuses

Statuses tell you where every job stands without picking up the phone. As a technician moves through their day, the status updates and the board reflects it so the office always knows what’s happening. A typical job moves through stages like scheduled, on the way, in progress, and completed. When the work is done, you can flow straight into the next steps: send a quote or estimate, turn it into an invoice, collect payment with text-to-pay, and trigger a Google review request.
Because statuses update live, dispatchers can spot a running-behind job early and reassign or reschedule before it affects the rest of the route.

Keep the field and office in sync

The dispatch board and the mobile app are two views of the same data. When the office assigns or reschedules a job, the field sees it instantly. When a tech updates a status, adds notes, or marks a job complete, the office sees it on the board.
Assigned jobs appear in the technician’s mobile app for Android and iOS, with push notifications for new assignments and changes. They can update status and add notes from the field.
Yes. Reassign any job on the board and both technicians are kept in sync, so routes stay accurate as the day changes.
Jobs flow in from online booking, the unified inbox, the AI receptionist, and manual creation. All of them surface on the dispatch board for assignment.
