A job in Revenue Sol represents a single piece of work you do for a customer, from the first booking through to getting paid. Jobs tie together your CRM, calendar, dispatch board, quotes, and payments so the whole team works from one source of truth.

The job lifecycle

Most jobs move through the same stages. You can advance a job manually or let automations move it along as work progresses.
1

Created

A job starts from a lead, an approved quote, the unified inbox, an online booking, or by hand. When you convert an approved quote into a job, the line items, products, and pricing carry over so you never re-enter details. See Creating jobs.
2

Scheduled

Pick a date, time, and duration. The job appears on the calendar and is reserved on your team’s availability. You can also let customers self-schedule through online booking.
3

Dispatched

Assign the job to a technician or crew and route it. The dispatch board gives you a drag-and-drop view of who is going where, and your field team gets the details on the mobile app.
4

Completed

The assigned tech marks the job done from the field, adds notes or photos, and captures any final adjustments. Completion can trigger follow-up actions automatically.
5

Invoiced

Turn the completed job into an invoice and collect payment. Job line items flow straight onto the invoice, so billing matches the work performed.
Completing a job can automatically send a Google review request to the customer. Set this up once in Reputation and every finished job keeps your reviews growing.

How jobs connect to your CRM

Every job is linked to a contact, so you always see the full history: past jobs, conversations from the unified inbox, notes, and tags. Jobs created from a lead keep that relationship intact, letting you track work from a pipeline stage all the way to a paid invoice. Tasks, reminders, and notes attached to a job keep your team aligned without leaving the record.

How jobs connect to the calendar

Scheduling a job places it on the shared calendar and the dispatch board. Rescheduling from either view updates the job everywhere, and assigned team members see the change on their mobile devices. Automated reminders go out to customers before the appointment to cut down on no-shows.
A job can be scheduled but not yet dispatched, or dispatched and in progress. Use job status to filter the board and the calendar so you always know what needs attention today.

How jobs connect to payments

Because the job carries its products, pricing, and any approved quote, billing is fast. From a completed job you can:
  • Generate an invoice with the job’s line items pre-filled.
  • Send a text-to-pay link so customers pay by card from their phone.
  • Set up recurring payments for maintenance plans or service contracts.
Payments are processed through Stripe, and the payment status reflects back on the job so you can see at a glance what’s still outstanding.
