Before you start
Quotes work best when your catalog is ready to go. Add your services and materials to the products and pricing catalog first so you can drop them into a quote as line items instead of typing everything by hand each time.Build a quote
Start a new quote
Open the Quotes area and create a new quote, then attach it to the customer (a contact or lead). You can also start a quote directly from a lead or job record so the customer details carry over automatically.
Add line items from your catalog
Add line items by selecting services or products from your catalog. Each item pulls in its name, description, and price, so you only adjust the quantity. You can also add a one-off custom line item for anything not in your catalog.
Set quantities and adjust pricing
Update quantities for each line, and edit the price or description on any line if this job needs something different from the catalog default. Apply discounts where appropriate.
Review totals and taxes
Revenue Sol calculates the subtotal automatically as you add lines. Apply the tax rate so the customer sees the correct total before they approve.
Totals and taxes
As you add and edit line items, the subtotal updates in real time. Add any tax and discounts so the displayed total matches what the customer will actually pay. Always confirm the final number is correct before you send, since this is the amount the customer approves and e-signs.A quote is a proposal, not a charge. Nothing is billed when you send it. After the customer approves, you convert it into an invoice to collect payment. See Invoices and Getting paid.
Send by text or email
When the quote is ready, send it to your customer by text message or email. The customer receives a link to view the full quote, where they can approve and e-sign it. Sending by text usually gets the fastest response for local home-service work, while email is useful for larger or more detailed proposals.Choose how to send
